St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department officials said Jonathan Rolfe, 17, was arrested on Tuesday at a relative’s house in St. Francis, Arkansas, according to WHBQ.

Deputies were called out for a welfare check on Nov. 27 just after 1:30 a.m. at a house on the 500 block of Gore Street in Crow Creek, St. Francis Sheriff’s Office said, according to WHBQ. When deputies arrived, they found three bodies with gunshot wounds.

Two adults were found on a bed and were identified as Ja’Terrence Wright, 32, and Shalanda Barton, 34, authorities said, according to WHBQ. Barton’s daughter, Kelsie Thompson, 13, was found dead on the floor of the bedroom.

Officials say Rolfe allegedly stole his mother’s car and ditched it on a road near his girlfriend’s house, according to WHBQ. Rolfe reportedly had the key fob from her car.

Investigators said that the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory returned a report that linked Rolfe to the murders, according to WHBQ.

Rolfe is being held without bond at a juvenile detention center, according to WHBQ. He has been charged with three counts of capital murder.
