“Spider-Man” actors Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged according to multiple reports.

TMZ was the first to report the relationship news on Monday, hours after eagle-eyed watchers of the Golden Globes noticed a large diamond ring on her finger as she walked the red carpet.

The gossip site cited unnamed “sources close to the couple” who said that Holland asked her sometime between Christmas and New Year’s at one of her family homes in the U.S.

They told TMZ that it was not over-the-top like many celebrity proposals. The moment was romantic and intimate.

People magazine confirmed the news with another unnamed “family source” that the couple were engaged.

That source told People that “everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening” just not when it would.

He had told the “Dish” podcast earlier they had private holiday plans.

“I’ll be with my girlfriend’s family, which will be fun. Where we’ll be is a secret,” Holland said, according to People.

Zendaya and Holland confirmed in 2021 that they were dating. They met on set in “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” which came out in 2017. Holland played Peter Parker/Spider-Man while Zendaya played his eventual love interest Michelle/MJ. They shared their first on-screen kiss in 2019′s “Spider-Man: Far from Home.” He confirmed their romance in an Instagram post marking her 25th birthday, calling her “my MJ.”
